Pros and Cons
When it comes to purchasing a tire, there are certainly pros and cons to consider. On the one hand, a high-quality tire can improve traction and handling, making your vehicle safer and more enjoyable to drive. Plus, purchasing a tire with a longer lifespan can ultimately save you money in the long run. On the other hand, however, buying a new tire can be expensive. It's also important to choose the right tire for your specific vehicle and driving conditions, which can require some research and expertise. Overall, carefully weighing the pros and cons can help you make an informed decision that will keep you safe on the road.

While the Thunderer Ranger A/T R404 tire may seem like a solid option for your all-terrain vehicle, it's important to consider the cons before purchasing. One major downside to these tires is their noise level on the road. Its aggressive tread pattern can create a constant hum, especially at higher speeds. Additionally, the Ranger A/T R404 may not perform as well in snowy or icy conditions, limiting its functionality for those in colder climates. However, if you're an avid off-roader looking for a tire with excellent traction capabilities, the Thunderer Ranger A/T R404 may still be worth considering. Just make sure to weigh the pros and cons before making a final decision.

I have load e 285/70r17 on my 05 Yukon. They do not wear at all. Having a very hard time keeping them balanced is the only problem. I bought them because I have them on my f250 diesel (285/75r16) and the tread just doesn't wear so it's the best bang for the buck. Cant keep wheel weights on that one either. Not sure why but tires just won't stay balanced. Other than that they are great in all weather especially the winter and they have less rolling resistance than other tires. I had coopers ats and these are comparable. I'm sure I'll buy another set whenever these wear out. I only got 10,000 miles out of my BFG ko2 on the truck. I have 10,000 on these already and there is no wear yet. I haul a lot tow a little normally have 3,000 pounds or more in the bed and if I tow it's on the weekends and that's between 7,000 and 10,000 pounds. I hope that helps guys looking for an affordable tire that is not the best but will give you some trad life. As for noise they are not Firestone destination le tires but they aren't mt tires either. They seem quite to me. I live on a chip and seal road and drive back roads and highway. I put about 10,000 miles on the Yukon and 8,000 miles on the f250 per year.
I run these tires on a 4wd Chevy dually.tires wear well, clean themselves well, and handle well.I would highly recommend these tires.
My second time using SimpleTire and as before they were great to work with. Great prices and fast shipping. Highly recommend SimpleTireðŸ'
I needed 2 new tires to match existing ones, but I couldn't find them in stock at any local tire shop (I probably checked over 10 places). They all said they could order them, but since i was going to have to wait I decided to check Simple Tire... and I am glad I did since I saved a bunch of money!
I've been using these on my F150 for awhile now. They seem to be doing fine. I've had no issues or problems. A bad front end alignment resulted in me buying two more, but after fixing that I'm back on the road. They are a little noisy, but not what I would call loud. Tread wear isn't that bad for a tire in this price range. I'll continue buying these as long as the quality remains where it is.
They're a pretty decent set, I'd use them again. Really not a off-road tire but it does well on easy trails. Tire wear is ok and traction is pretty good wet or dry. A little noisy but not nearly on the level of a mud terrain or true all terrain tire.
They were delivered on time. The tires ride well with little noise, not yet sure about tread life because have not run many miles on them
Great tread pattern. A little noisy, but hey, they're on a pick-up truck. Great price from Simple Tire.
