Based in Milan, Pirelli is an Italian multinational tire manufacturer. Among the largest tire players in the world, Pirelli is operational in 160 countries with 19 production facilities spread in 13 countries. Pirelli has been rolling out tires for passenger cars, CUVs, SUVs, motorcycles, and bicycles in different categories which include all-season, all-terrain, all-weather, UHP (ultra-high-performance), and winter. The Pirelli P Zero tire line focuses on ultra-high-performance cars, and the P Zero Nero All Season is an excellent choice if you are on the lookout for a great handler and superior gripping tire.
The Pirelli P Zero Nero All Season has a SimpleScore of {{line_id_XXXXX}} and features a perfect combination of precise cornering, quiet ride, and enhanced grip in dry and wet conditions. An asymmetric tread pattern with four longitudinal and multiple lateral grooves push out water and slush quickly from the surface to allow maximum traction in wet conditions even at high speeds. The tire does not allow much heat generation and lowers the resistance which improves overall fuel efficiency.
Available with Run Flat technology as well, the P Zero Nero All Season comes in a wide range of tire sizes expanding from 17 to 20 inches. Designed to be used on performance-oriented cars, the Pirelli tire offers a solid limited tread life warranty of 45,000 miles. So, does this tire actually deliver on the promise? Let’s find out in this Pirelli P Zero Nero All Season tire review. Keep reading.
Features and Benefits
UHP tires are engineered to provide superb braking and acceleration at high speeds. It should return a sticky ride with low noise, commanding handling, great stability, and excellent traction in dry and wet conditions. The P Zero Nero All Season does all of it. How? Let’s check out.
- Excellent traction and superior control - The asymmetric tread design with increased sipes and void-to-rubber ratio allow improved grip and traction during light to mild winters. With quick water and slush evacuation (thanks to the four longitudinal grooves), the tire never loses grip on the surface and you get better control over your vehicle. Additionally, a silica-enhanced tread ensures effective grip is maintained even when the temperature is hot and when it is cold.
- Noise-free and comfortable ride - Thanks to the Pirelli Noise Canceling System (PNCS) (on select sizes) and an asymmetric tread pattern, there is an additional layer of sound-absorbing foam pasted on the inner layer of the tire to resist sound waves traveling into the cabin. The sidewall construction is tough yet flexible to reduce the impact of bumps.
- Long-lasting tread – The optimized tread design and compound with well-balanced silica content resists uneven wear and enhances the tire’s sporty feel. Solid center rib maintains consistent contact with the tread making it easier to brake, turn, and accelerate.
Pros and Cons
Coming from the stable of one of the best tire brands in the world, the P Zero Nero All Season does have a lot of advantages to its credit. That being said, no tire is perfect and the Pirelli tire has some shortcomings too. Let’s have a look at its pros and cons before wrapping up the Pirelli P Zero Nero All Season review.

The tire was 5 years old when I got it but besides that it's an excellent handling tire but the noise is ridiculous
Terrible tires! I received old tires from 2015!!!
Coming from the P Zero Rossos on my SUV, I find the P Zero Nero All Seasons much better suited to my vehicle. I found myself always dropping the pressures on the P Zero Rossos in an effort to quiet them down, ride smoother, and even out the wear pattern more. Problem was that my SUV is quite heavy and occasionally hauls a small cargo trailer and the low pressures were hard on the tires and my gas mileage. The lower tire pressures are not necessary on the P Zero Nero All Seasons! They are very quiet and smooth at all pressures and have just as much performance as the Rossos for driving an SUV on the street. Treadwear is much better! And they look just as cool for a great price :) Haven't driven through snow so cant comment on winter traction. I will buy these again.
These tires are much better than the OEM P Zero tires. Wet and dry handling is superb and the tread life is amazing so far. I will definitely buy these tires again for this vehicle.
I have used them for a couple of months and they are great tires. I just replaced two and was actually able to notice the difference.
Nothing special about this tire and it's overpriced in my honest opinion. Numerous bubbles in the sidewalk that I had to have replaced. Cane stock on my GTI but definitely won't be buying them again.
These tires are a direct replacement for the factory originals on my 2014 Mustang GT. They are much quieter on the road than the original and handling is excellent. They also offer excellent handling in the rain. These tires have about 10,000 miles on them and are wearing perfectly, so far. I highly recommend these tires!
