Pickup and delivery drivers may require one or more commercial vans for transportation, and if so, they would need affordable and hardy tires. It is a good idea to fit Nokian Roadian CT8 HL, an all-season highway-terrain tire with a M+S symbol that is manufactured by Nexen Tire Co., established as early as 1942 by Heung-A Tire Company. As a Korean firm, it came up with the ‘Nexen’ name using two future-based words: Next and Century. Expect the tires to be fitted on trucks, pickups, SUVs, crossovers, and light and medium-duty vans. Strong performance from this tire is further backed by Nexen’s warranty program. More information about this tire will be mentioned in the Nexen Roadian CT8 HL review below.
Features and Benefits
The Nexen Roadian CT8 HL is primarily meant to last for several miles, a characteristic which in itself is hard to find. Despite being relatively expensive when compared to Yokohama Geolandar H/T G056 and Hankook Dynapro HT (RH12), they offer tremendous value for money. Here’s a look at the features and benefits that are responsible for a high Nexen Roadian CT8 HL rating:
- Better performance - Traverse center blocks are responsible for boosting performance.
- Backed Nexen’s Total Coverage warranty - It is inclusive of 36 months of Roadside Assistance and a 500-mile or 45-day Free Trial.
- Longer tread life - Square-shaped dimples in tread and a special rubber compound ensure that these tires face low stress, leading to long life.
- Improved fuel efficiency - The Roadian CT8 HL’s symmetric design ensures low rolling resistance which lowers fuel consumption, important for fleet owners.
Pros and Cons
Regular rotation for front tires to the rear and vice versa helps them last longer. An all-season tread ensures these tires have adequate grip in dry, wet, and light winter conditions, thereby providing maximum safety at all times. To know more about how suitable Nexen Roadian CT8 HL will be for your truck or fleet, go through the following pros and cons:
Pros
- Great dry and wet traction
- Very comfortable and reasonably quiet
- Backed by Nexen’s Total Coverage warranty
- Long tread life
- Strong performance
- Low rolling resistance
- Increased biting edges
Cons
- Can be noisy
- Not meant for use in moderate to heavy snow
- Low speed rating of T that could be problematic during deliveries

I wrote a previous review but was incorrect on when I purchased these tires. I still feel the corners have worn too quickly even with the city driving we do. But with rotation they've hung in there. But I still don't know that they make it through the winter this year. Overall good a tire. Don't know if I'll buy it again.
Great all season tires and price is very competitive. GREAT WEBSITE.
Very happy with my tires And at a great price too
Since I have this tires my truck feels so much safer and I recommended to friends also. Also. Customer service when I call to order my tires head lot to find the correct one for me. Thanks so much.
I've had these tires on my 2016 E450 Class C RV for 1000 miles. So far they are working great. I haven't had a lot of time to see how the longevity of them will be, but my initial observations are very good. The extra weight rating in the tires is a great help in dealing with the weight of the camper.
Seem ok so far but havn't driven them in rain or snow and I've only put 3,000 miles on them so far
Feel great Comfortable,
So far, so good. I need to put more miles on these tires and revisit this site
Great tires, low noise for an RV tire.
