I purchased these Nexen N'fera RU5 tires for my 2012 Audi Q7. I saw these on sale at simple tire and decided to take a risk and try them out. I am VERY HAPPY with these tires. Shipping was quick and easy. They showed up to my door looking beautiful. So far I have driven 25k miles on them and they appear to be about halfway through the tread so I'm expecting to get ~50k with them. They are AWESOME in dry, rain and in comfort. They are not super quiet, I would say just as noisy as my wife's Pirelli's which I'm more than fine with. In snow, the tires did slip a bit more than I would have liked but in upstate NY, it was prob on par with other all season tire I have driven in. Many many highway miles and at 85 MPH in a vehicle that is ~6,000 lbs, I am VERY happy. Would highly recommend these NEXEN N'fera RU5 tires. 275/45/20.
I order all my tires from Simple Tires. They have a wide variety of tires and always in stock! The prices are unbeatable with free shipping as well.
Driving a 2010 Nissan Murano LE AWD...9,000 miles on the tires currently, if that...Great tire in all regards, EXCEPT snow....Driven in 1-2" of snow twice this year in Pennsylvania, and the traction was absolutely horrible...I had no issues previous winters, with lots of snow, with my old tires...I would recommend the tire if you're in a "no snow zone"
great tire great price ,fast service
Great tire on my Mazda CX-9.
Hello All, I've go 2,500,000 miles on my gluteus maximus and that has required a few sets of tire. Many of the major brands are average with average performance at best. I'm lucky because I always choose the up and coming brands of tires. The NEXEN brands is awesome to say the least. 75,000 miles out of a set of tires is amazing when they are rated for 65,000. The NEXEN company modestly rates their tires lifespan and with some tender loving care you can get more than expected. I pay close attention to tire pressure and when driving I observe the smoothness of the road. I try to drive on the best road conditions possible. Think of it this way do your best to maintain traction and roll over the best part of the road for tire life. Air pressure 1 lb can make a difference of thousands of miles of life in your tire. The surface of your tire maybe 8 in due to air pressure you're forcing 6 in of the tire to do all the work. If you have too much air pressure you bulge the center of the tire and you caused it to do too much work. Personally I wish we had a scale that we could set the air pressure based on your tire on the road. Think of it this way at 70 miles an hour and an 8-inch face of tread on your tire how much of that 8in is 100% pressure on the road. If you only have 75% of the pressure of that 8in of Tread On the Road the tires will wear out prematurely. Air pressure is everything on a set of tires. The front of the vehicle should have more air pressure in the back of the vehicle. So what am I telling you get a great tire pressure gauge that's very accurate. Get educated about the air pressure of your tires. Good Luck May the force be with you
Great tire for a sav all around use and great service from simple tire. I would definitely purchase them again.
I would recommend these tires to everyone. In the last 5 months I have encountered everything from dry roads to wet, to snow, and ice and they handle wonderfully. Such a quiet ride also. Great price, you just can't go wrong.
